The Rolls Royce Ice Cream Truck

This isn’t a photoshop gag, but an actual ice cream truck that was operated by an ice cream truck business. That, at least, is how the Colicci firm started in 1982. Now the family-owned business has expanded past ice cream trucks to provide luxury snack kiosks in prestigious locations around the United Kingdom.

This Phantom II Rolls Royce dates back to 1932. Automotive Rhythms has more photos of its appearance in the appropriately-chosen Italian Gardens of Kensington Park. It’s now out of service as an ice cream truck and used as a wedding vehicle. I really like the idea of a bride and groom departing a wedding in an ice cream truck, regardless of the quality of the vehicle.
