Can You Count the Red Flags in This Car Ad?

Last week, a listing appeared on Facebook Marketplace for a 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo with 20,000 miles on it. The going rate for a 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo is between $95K and $140K. But this one is only $35,000. Yeah, there's a problem -it's stuck in gear. I guess the seller is willing to lose at least $60K in value in order to keep from having it towed to a mechanic. But wait, there's more!

No title. Don't ask for the VIN. Sold for parts only. This is starting to look suspicious. A second ad from the same seller popped up the next day that said, "STOP ASKING FOR THE VIN". But at least the second listing said he had a title. And there are two different pics of the car with, hmm, suspicious background details. Both ads have since been deleted, and we don't know the status of the seller nor the car. Read more about this story and why you should always ask for the VIN at The Drive. -via Fark ā€‹
